TICKnTALK is an innovative browser component, which follows you during your daily Internet surfing. With the comment feature (Talk), you can place your opinion about every page in the network, regardless of web page operator. The Tick feature allows you to make recommendations, or provide warnings, about web pages and comments. This way, you can easily exchange your opinions with other visitors to the same web pages. You will be advised of brand-new and hip web pages by the comments and recommendations of the other TICKnTALK users. With one more click, your friends will also learn about any discoveries you have just made.

The TICKnTALK browser plug-in is a component for your browser. With just three clicks, the application is installed in the browser and can be used. Go here to download.

Are you happy with a web site? Then, make it more popular with a tick. With just one click, the community learns which web site has published an article that is currently worth reading. The two-step rating system allows you to support and drop web sites and comments according to your feelings.

Let others know your opinion of a web site and store a comment about it. You opinion is uncensored for the community and visible directly in the sidebar regardless of the page provider. Moreover, other can comment on it.

So that your friends can also benefit from your discoveries, you also need a TICKnTALK account and the browser component. By means of your sidebar, you can quickly see them and invite them by email. By means of the two Tick and Talk features, more interesting contacts can be created within the community, where the same interests have been reported.

It is really simple. You can click on the Twitter link at the bottom of the settings page in your profile, which leads to a Twitter page. There, you should log in to your Twitter account and, presto, you're connected.

When you connect Twitter with TICKnTALK, your comments and recommendation will be displayed directly on your Twitter account. This way, your Twitter followers also benefit from your interesting TICKnTALK comments and recommendations.

An email address represents an important characteristic for identification and security for logging in. In addition to it, you only need a user name and a password of your choosing. Your email address cannot be reviewed by either the community or third parties.

For participation in TICKnTALK, you must ultimately enter an email address and a user name of your choosing. No other personal information is required. All additional information for the completion of your profile (e.g. age, user picture, personal description) is purely voluntary. You alone determine how much the community is allowed to know about you. Your email address isn't visible to the community. In the event of your irrevocable departure from TICKnTALK, your personal data will be deleted as quickly as possible.

Your email address is never sold or forwarded to third parties for purposes of advertising.

TICKnTALK only saves those pages for which you have provided a comment or a mark. An activity profile for the other pages you visit will not be created.

TICKnTALK shows you a warning when you comment on an SSL-encrypted page or would like to recommend it. In principle, you may personally decide if you would like to publish the link.

If you happen to give out information from you membership area by mistake, such as your web mail account: generally, most professional and well-known providers exclude log in by means of a “deep” link for reasons of security. Additionally, TICKnTALK cuts off the critical elements (e.g. session ID’s) for many links, which refer to member log in areas.

We would, however, recommend that you not comment on your personal membership area to the general public for reasons of security. However, you also don’t give out your personal member areas (e.g. email, Facebook) in Internet forums.

Normally, no comments and ticks are deleted unless they are reported as spam by the community, or an obvious breach of the terms of use or applicable law is present.

More and more frequently, comments about web pages are being subsequently checked, tightened, censored and embellished by editors. This can lead to your comment no longer reflecting what you originally intended to say. We believe in freedom of opinion and the freedom of the Internet. For this reason, you can proclaim your opinion about the web site free of the web site and outside of the reach of the page provider, without having to fear that your well-intended suggestion will be blocked.

We want a community with mutual respect, a site where you can place open, critical and even confrontational opinions. TICKnTALK normally won't edit, sandbag or delete your comments. All comments on TICKnTALK will only be checked by the community. Questionable content can be indicated by means of the Spam button, and deleted or sent directly to info@tickntalk.com.

TICKnTALK isn't a place for illegitimate expressions or actions. If an obvious breach of the terms of use or applicable law is present, the corresponding comment or link and the associated user profile may be deleted.

No, we provide the service to you free of charge. Simply download the component, install it and log in, and then you can share your newest discoveries with your friends.

Change the email address in your profile settings and save the change. Then, log out, click "Password forgotten" and enter your new email address. The password will be sent to the new address.

Download the component from Downloads and install it. The first page will ask you to enter your personal information for registration. An email will confirm your registration and after that you will be able to log in and start making comments.
